I was really too young to pay much attention when Jimmy Carter was president—I matriculated on Reagan. I wonder how this chart would have looked had Rasmussen's index existed in 1979. Defining delusional, Obama claimed that 80% of the American people agree with him on spending apropos the debt ceiling. Carter was awfully bad but our current president is an arrant menace. There doesn't seem to be a limit to the irrational expanse of Barack Obama's ego.
