Question
How might one apply a coating to a rubber surface having a width of the length of a red ant, a substance, whose viscosity is 1,500 mPa-s Brookfield RVT @ 20 rpm, at a thickness consistently between the diameter of a human red blood cell and the diameter of a wool fiber?

If this were me, I would give this a slight electromagnetic charge with a 9 volt battery and airbrush on whatever coating is required. I'm sure if you ask around, one of your insanely talented artist pals <*cough*> could loan you one of her three Iwata airbrushes.
