Better Late Than Never...

This correction ran in the July 17, 1969, edition of the New York Times. Was "Pinch" already in charge of the Old Gray Lady all the way back in Janauary, 1920? One can't help but wonder...

    That sound you hear is me smacking myself in the head with a fourth grade science textbook. (Funny thing, this is the second reference to the term "Old Grey Lady" that I've seen this week, and no, I wouldn't wrap my fish in it either.)
